A visit to Vall\u00e9e des Couleurs
The visit of La Vall\u00e9e des Couleurs begins with access to the Exhibition room which provides an outline of the different places of interest which you will discover through your visit. You will also enjoy the visit to the fern garden, without which any visit in the park would be incomplete, unless one wants to miss out on the beauty of tree ferns, wild orchids or other native flowers.
The park is also home to tortoises, monkeys, stags, fish and also birds such as the Pink Pigeon, Paille en Queue, Cateau Vert with various endemic trees like the Ebony, Bois de Natte, Takamaka and other rare plants also contributing to the beauty of the park. As part of your visit to La Vall\u00e9e des Couleurs Nature Park, you\u2019ll also witness the cascading waterfalls, serene lakes, dense forests, and the renowned 23 Coloured Earth – the natural phenomenon that dates back to millions of years after the volcanic eruption of the Bassin Blanc.

The Waterfall Zipline (300m) – 2 Lines

Feel the rush of adrenaline through your veins as you zip through the air, taking in the aweinspiring view of the park’s tallest waterfall cascading beneath you. Don’t worry about getting drenched; the Waterfall Zipline is designed to take you exclusively above the waterfall.
The Initiator (500m) – 1 Line

Extreme Tour + Adventure (4.3km approx) – 11 Lines

This option is packed with the most exhilarating ziplines at Vall\u00e9e des Couleurs, including the record-breaking 1.5 Km zipline and the four-course Adventure zip line – a unique experience of its own. Please be informed that the Waterfall Zipline (300m) takes you above the waterfalls only.
The zipline activity is suitable from the age of 6 years old, accompanied by an adult.
The Signature zipline (1.5km) is suitable from the age of 12 years old.
All participants must be physically and mentally capable to perform this particular activity.
No previous experience in zip lining is required.
Minimum weight: 40kg (Participants below 40kg will need to be accompanied)

Weight limitation for the Adventure Tour: Minimum 30kg; maximum 120kg
Quad Biking & Buggy Ride
Enjoy a 1-hour Discovery ride on a quad\/buggy or 2-hour quad biking (Discovery + Adventure) in one of the most beautiful nature reserves in Mauritius \u2013 La Vall\u00e9e des Couleurs. More than just a quad bike\/buggy ride, this is a nature discovery trip unveiling the true beauty of the south of Mauritius.
The 2-hour quad biking trip combines Discovery & Adventure, where you’ll explore the beauty of the park at a more leisurely pace, followed by taking on the offroad tracks and conquering challenging terrains – perfect for those seeking excitement & speed.
Alternatively, you can opt for the 1-hour Discovery tour on a quad or buggy, where you’ll have a more relaxed and contemplative experience with remarkable views of the canyons, hills and waterfalls.
Joining this quad biking adventure, you can have this amazing experience riding a single-seat quad or on a double-seat quad sharing with your partner. You can even get a buggy vehicle which can accommodate 2 adults or 1 Adult + 1 Child (as from 5 years).
You can also choose between a 450cc Quad and a 625cc Quad. While the 450cc quad guarantees a fun-filled bumpy ride, the 625cc Quad Bike is ideal for more experienced riders seeking a thrillpacked, high-speed adventure.
The main time slot for the 2h Quad Biking is at 10:00. If you are unable to arrive at the park for the 10:00 session, kindly inform us and we will check if the activity can exceptionally be done at a later hour.
Note:
You have to be 16 years old and above to drive a quad and a height of at least 1m35.
Children aged 12 and above can enjoy this activity alongside an adult as a passenger on a double quad bike.
As for the buggy, you need to be 16 years old and above to drive the vehicle on your own.An initiation circuit is compulsory for the guides to evaluate the driving capacity of each client before starting the activity.
Pregnant women are not allowed to participate for security reasons.

Bicycle Zipline

Please note that entrance ticket is compulsory to pay in order to have access to the park.
Activity time will be subject to the time slots available at the park. If clients miss their specific time slot booked, there will be no money refund or rescheduling.
When choosing\/booking your activity, please consider the \u2018Start\u2019 and \u2018End\u2019 time of each activity you wish to book and the duration of each activity to avoid clashes in between activities and to allow enough time for you to shuttle in between each activity.
You need to reach the park at 09:30 to be able to do a maximum number of activities.
Recommended number of activities would be 4 to 5 depending on the timings or duration.
There could be a waiting time of 15 mins max for any activity during busy days.
The management reserves the unconditional right to cancel and postpone any activity due to adverse weather conditions or for any other operational reasons.
All participants must be physically and mentally capable to perform the activities.
In regards to allergens and intolerance, it must be specified at the time of booking.
Participants must duly sign and comply to LVDC disclaimer form before proceeding for activities. No swimming is allowed in the waterfalls.
